This is a very popular image going around the internet right now and it inspired me to do yet another art based post. I'm not really inspired by photography, surprisingly enough. I also know it is very clique to favor these three artists but I honestly could careless. I love their work, craziness, and personalities. Enjoy my random information.

For those who haven't been...or haven't even heard of it, there is only one museum that is 100% dedicated to Salvador Dali and it is located in St. Petersburg, Florida. It is honestly the best art museum I have ever been to...and I have been to the Louvre in Paris. The building itself is one of a kind and the entire exterior is made of mirrors...no one mirror is like another. A spiral staircase takes you from the gift shop to the artwork. The work starts from his earliest work and continues on into his later work in an amazing format. You can slowly watch how his work transformed over time and how he added his little touches to all of them. I was honestly a huge fan of him before I went to the museum, hints why I went, but I couldn't have imagined how amazing it was actually going to be until I saw it for myself. I strongly suggest it to anyone, even if you aren't interested in art. Do it.

Title Unknown - Light Writing Photography by Picasso

As an homage to Pablo Picasso, Eugenio Recuenco set out to use his exceptional work in photography and film to transform Picasso's famous cubist paintings of women into a amazing series of photos.

The realistic play on the cubist style with the clothes, makeup, and even the smaller copies of the same image in the background. Every time I look at the photos I am blown away by how accurate his interpretation of Picasso's masterpieces are. I also think the feeling from the lighting and texture from editing sets the exact mood Picasso expresses in most of his artwork. Fantastic.
