I will be traveling to Florida this week and will not be back in Virginia until the 8th of September. I will still keep up with my emails with a possible delay. Of course, I will not be able to hold any meetings in that time frame but feel free to contact me to set something up for when I get back.
If you have any questions, feel free to call or email
Martin Janecky is an internationally renown glass artist from the Czech Republic. He was the Visiting Artist at the Chrysler Museum of Art's Glass Studio in Norfolk, VA from August 7th-10th. The photos below were taken at his demonstration on 8/7/14...along with one from 8/10/14. The finalized pieces were taken from a variety of websites to show all of you some of his past work. Overall, it was amazing to see him work along with the amazing art form that is glass. If he is ever near you or any glass artist for that matter, I strongly suggest giving them a few hours of your time. Enjoy the photos. www.MartinJanecky.com
...and in case any of you are curious what the molten glass looks like before it starts to cool (and he alters it to make it appear white), here you go.
