I came across paintings by Zdzisław Beksiński recently on the internet. He is a Polish painter that was also a photographer and sculptor. I am a sucker for surrealistic paintings so of course I fell in love with his work. Zdzisław executed his work in a gothic manner (or as he put it 'baroque'). Towards the end of his life he began painting images of what he imagined hell to be. Majority of the images I have posted are from that period in his life.
Sadly, Zdzisław was murdered in his Warsaw flat in 2005. The son of his longtime caretaker pleaded guilty to the murder shortly after.
I decided to try something a little new since updating my social media platforms isn't my strong suit...I'm going to try to keep up with compliments from clients and post them over images from their shoot.
(Or blog comments like the photo on the left)
Here are some I put together for a test run. I'll have to start keeping track of all of the kind words people send to me after they receive their photos.
More to come soon!
I have posted a couple of things about my company moving from Pensacola, FL to Norfolk, VA but more details were found out today. I will officially be relocating at the very beginning January 2014.
I will continue to service the Pensacola, FL area until I have moved to Norfolk, VA and may still do shoots in the Gulf Coast from time to time. Gulf Coast, Thank you for your continued support in my photography work and look forward to my new experiences in Norfolk and all of the surrounding areas.
